That book was very good and was focused on how to write good unit tests. I love someone having a problem, coming to me, looking at it together, getting up to walk around, look at the So, for example, even if we have unit tests for our game code, we have no way to run them because getting the game hooked up into CI is difficult, so we'd have to build more custom solutions, which only gets us further into the hole. I think lots of clever people like debugging. Write the implementation to make the test pass (even if it involves hard-coding values based on the knowledge of the test). Apr 30, 2011 - This hands-on guide provides invaluable insight for creating successful test-driven development processes. Mar 28, 2006 - The approach described in Kent Beck's TDD by Example, is: 1. Dec 1, 2009 - Book cover I earlier wrote about the book, The Art of Unit Testing, which I finished a while ago. May 15, 2014 - DHH appears to have a dim view on TDD practicing developers; whom he generalises write simple unit tests having 100% code coverage, use many mocks, but test nothing real. Write a test (which will break). Mar 28, 2011 - The last installment of our series introduced Test-First Programming and briefly discussed its refinements: Test-Driven Development and Behavior-Driven Development. May 16, 2013 - You have probably heard of Test-driven development (TDD) and hopefully deeply embedded it into your everyday development cycle by now. Feb 17, 2014 - The subtitle of Test-Driven Development with Mockito is "Learn how to apply Test-Driven Development and the Mockito framework in real life projects, using realistic, hands-on examples." Preface. Mar 30, 2012 - So why do I hate TDD?
